New Author in Right Music Info: Originally from Sunderland, England but now residing in Invercargill, New Zealand. Dave found a passion for electronic music way back in 1999. He was a big fan of the Trance, Techno and Hard House scene and his love for this kind of music has grown since. Inspired by the likes of Scot project, Marco V and Carl Cox to name a few he decided to try his hand at music production in 2010. He is self taught and is constantly learning new techniques. Over the past 10 years he has discovered many different styles of electronic music and he tries to include them in his own productions. New Artist on Right Music RecordsElectronica. That’s where Jeff Tovar calls home. He first fell in love with electronic music as a teenager in the 80s. The synth-laden sounds of new wave immediately grabbed his attention with their emotive and ethereal provocation. He later went on to discover big beat, breaks, downtempo, ambient, and hip hop at pivotal moments in music history. While all of these genres provided entertaining listening experiences, it was drum & bass that compelled him to become an active participant. Jeff Tovar immersed himself in the Los Angeles and nationwide scene, hosting a seminal internet radio show on Vibeflow.com; numerous underground parties; and Club Muse — an event series that spanned 10+ years with 100+ events. Through these years, his realization that electronic music was an undeniable force in connecting people everywhere was something that had to be taken further. In the late 2000s, Jeff Tovar cofounded a bass music collaboration called “Kuru,” while simultaneously starting to explore progressive house and techno. The artists of the time were producing the sounds that resonated most with him: ethereal and moody yet still providing escape and hope. Since then his affinity for the 4:4 genres has landed him numerous guest spots across US clubs and airwaves. Today, along with inspiring people on the dance floor and through their headphones with his finely crafted mixes, Jeff Tovar is heavily focused on tuning his calling in sound arrangement — in solo works; a collab project known as “Man Is Metaphor;” and also most recently creating music with Dataloop. New Author on Right Music RecordsCarlos Chravez was born as Robert Kruse at 8th of Septembre in 1984 and grown up in the North- East of Germany next to Events like Fusion, S.O.S and Homebase East. Listening to the Spirit of Depeche Mode, Hell and Vitalic an addiction to electronic music raised in his heart so he decided to join this tribe of subculture and created Carlos Chravez. Many Events and Productions later filled with endless impressions in 2006 to enlarge his personality and horizon of sounds and people he moved to Berlin to make dreams become true. A story began… Nature One, Tresor, Magdalena and Kamea Frankfurt are only a few steps on a journey to hisself and the expansion of his mind. For example his mix series “Plattentasche Series” is still published every year with increasing popularity. 2006- 2011 also the Elektrogrill Radio Show every Thursday as an four hour live broadcast with various house and techno artists was filled with live together with Jörn Kiepka. 2012 he climbed up the next Level from DJ to Producer. 2013 his own sub-label Round N Round (RNR) with also other small but potentialed DJs covered the Scene. 2017 a side project called “Othertune” was started to enlarge experience.
